I have been doing a lot of ‘final’s these week, final dinner with team, final lunch with friends, final tea etc etc. Can I give this all a break and take a little de-tour to tell you all something I realised? I hope I have that freedom, this being my “Final” meeting with THIS team.
Anyways, here it is!
For last couple of days my daughter, who is in Kolhapur with her mother and grandparents, has been suffering from some kind of viral reaction or allergy or increased heat or something creepy which has caused her mouth to be full with ulcers and she hasn’t been eating or drinking anything. My wife has been keeping me posted on WhatsApp and over phone. And I was worried about my daughter too. So yesterday night, before I start eating my bachelor-day-food noodles, I got a call from my wife and again we discussed my daughter’s health and she gave me the good news that Rucha, my daughter has been feeling better and has been feeling less pain in her mouth and has started eating rice, thanks to the medication!
Just by hearing this over phone, I felt so relaxed and was so overjoyed that I didn’t even realise when my eyes got full with tears. The sheer joy of my daughter recovering from sickness made me realise how much I care for her and how much her happiness and wellness means to me and my eyes were full with tears of happiness.
Such moments are the real gems of life, they are the moments which we cherish and they make us human beings.
Such moments are the real gems of life, they are the moments which we cherish and they make us human beings.
Now the reason why I told you this all is… nothing, I just wanted to blurt my heart out to all of you people with whom I have been working for last many years.
But apart from that I also wanted to tell you that I also have got a lot such cherish-able moments here in this company and I am deeply grateful for that.
And since I am going to remember you all with all the good moments we shared, good laughs we had, I wanted you all also to do the same and stay in touch. Hence on this very positive note, I say thank you again and let me get back to the final day formalities!
